Surf Serenity came from that moment when you stop fighting the water and simply let it hold you.

I wanted her suspended beside the board rather than surfing or posing — completely at ease, with nothing to prove. The bright blue keeps the composition open and simple, while the pink and patterned board bring in the colour and personality I’m always drawn to.

For me, it’s about those rare moments when the body relaxes, the mind becomes quiet, and you feel completely present.
