I’ve always been drawn to the sensuality of classic fashion. There was a time when a woman could be incredibly alluring without having to expose very much at all.

For me, there was something beautiful about that.

The long striped stockings and red heels in Legs, Lines & Liberation are playful and sensual, but they also leave something to the imagination. The woman remains protected from exposure. Her femininity belongs to her.

And perhaps that is what I love most about it — the playfulness belonged to the women themselves. It wasn’t necessarily performed for somebody else.

The stripes exaggerate the length and movement of the legs, while those wonderful red shoes add just enough mischief.

It is sensuality with confidence, humour and a little mystery.
