Registered Authenticity & Provenance
Each limited-edition canvas is recorded in the Ilana McBain Registry of Authenticity & Provenance and supplied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity identifying the artwork and its individual edition number.
The registry maintains a private record of provenance throughout the life of the work. If ownership changes in the future, the new collector can be registered with the Studio and an updated record of provenance issued.

Rabbit Hole came from the idea of curiosity taking over.
You know that feeling when something catches your attention and suddenly you are completely inside it — following one thought into another, discovering something unexpected, forgetting where you started? I love that state. It is where so many of my ideas begin.
The rabbits felt like the perfect characters for it. One is almost confronting you, another seems to be watching from the side, and the smallest feels as though it has already disappeared halfway into another world.
I pushed the colour much further than reality because I wanted the painting to feel like entering a different headspace. The twisting lines behind them are deliberately restless and slightly hypnotic — there is no quiet background here. Everything is moving.
For me, Rabbit Hole is about allowing yourself to follow curiosity without always needing to know where it will lead.
Sometimes getting a little lost is exactly how you find something new.
