Shared Silence is a one-of-one monumental oil painting measuring 170 × 240 cm.

Three faces meet at the centre line — distinct yet interdependent. Colour blocks define structure. Thick black contours hold psychological tension. Warm ochres and reds balance against deep blues and emerald greens, creating a visual negotiation between inner world and outer presence.

This work does not depict romance.

It depicts awareness.

The symmetry is deliberate but not perfect. Each figure holds autonomy while acknowledging the other. The lips almost align. The gaze almost meets. The tension lives in that almost.

Once secured, the painting is executed in professional oil at full 170 x 240 cm scale in my Sunshine Coast studio.

While the compositional structure remains consistent, each oil painting is individually executed. Subtle variations in brushwork, texture, and surface movement are inherent to the medium, ensuring authenticity and originality within the established framework.
