The Space Where We Meet - A Limited Series of contemporary abstract figurative artworks exploring human relationships through organic forms, colour, and psychological space.

I created The Space Where We Meet during a time when I was thinking deeply about closeness how easy it is to lose yourself, and how hard it can be to stay open without disappearing.

Each face stands on its own. Different colours, shapes, expressions. They don’t merge, and they’re not meant to. Yet they exist together, connected by presence rather than sameness. This work reflects my belief that real connection happens when two people meet as they are, not as they think they should be.

The bold lines mark boundaries I’ve learned to respect, in myself and in others. The overlapping forms soften those edges, reminding me that openness doesn’t mean collapse. It means choice.

There’s strength in this piece, but also warmth. Confidence without aggression. Intimacy without intrusion. A quiet balance I’ve had to learn the long way.

This artwork invites you to reflect on your own relationships, where you hold your ground, where you open, and where true connection begins.

A statement piece for spaces that value honesty, conversation, and emotional depth.
